What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a trance-like state of mind that people can enter using certain skilful induction techniques conducted by certified and professional hypnotist.
In the subconscious state, the person’s mind becomes more focused onto themselves, allowing them to accept information and suggestions without the usual resistance. In this state, the hypnotist can also guide the person to their desired state of mind.
How is works?
Hypnosis can be divided into four parts: INDUCTION, DEEPENING, SUGGESTION and RETURN.
INDUCTION – the hypnotist will guide the client into a state of extreme relaxation and concentration.
DEEPENING – The hypnotist’s job will guide the client into a deeper trance whereby the individual is more relaxed and will unload their usual defence mechanism. Without defence, the hypnotist can access one’s subconscious mind and his usual suppressed thoughts more easily.
SUGGESTION – The hypnotist invites the hypnotised person to exercise their imagination and experience their world differently. These can be simple but clear statements about what they can do differently, or how they might react differently in some challenging situation, or how they might come to think differently about themselves or some circumstance. These post-hypnotic suggestions can help them confidently achieve their goals or face their challenges.
RETURN – In the last phrase, the hypnotists starts to guide the person back into their alert and wake state using few grounding techniques.
